Wing L. Law

Wing was born in Hong Kong and was a foreign student in 1969. He attended California State University at Fresno and then in 1973, continued his educational pursuits by attending Pace University graduate school.

He began his professional journey in 1977 at Topps Chewing Gum, Inc., a renowned leader in the production of baseball cards and confections like Bazooka and Ring Pop. Through diligent work, he rose from Junior Analyst to Director of Financial Planning. Throughout his time at Topps, he developed annual and long-range financial plans, enabling the company to effectively accomplish its goals until his departure in 2008.

Wing is a Christian who has faithfully attended the Oversea Chinese Mission Church in the heart of NYC’s Chinatown for more than four decades.

He and his wife Janet, married in 1977, have been Staten Island residents since 1981. They’ve raised their 3 children on the island and now have 4 grandchildren, 2 of whom were born at RUMC. During his free time, Wing enjoys playing tennis and has competed in tournaments on Staten Island as well as in USTA Nationals and International Tennis Federation (ITF) events in Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, and Canada.  These experiences have provided him with the opportunity to travel, meet people from different cultures, and broaden his global perspective.
