Courtney Moore

With over 30 years of experience servicing institutions and wealthy families, Courtney offers extensive advice in customizing investment solutions, strategic asset allocation modeling, hedging and diversifying sophisticated portfolios and incorporating liability management. She is a critical thinker with a deep understanding of the institutional markets and the complex needs of institutions and high-net-worth families.  Courtney finds it most rewarding to be an integral part of clients’ decision-making process and helping them pursue their goals and missions.

Courtney has been named to the Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors List and the Forbes America’s Top Women Wealth Advisors from 2018 through 2022. In 2022, 2021, 2019 and 2018, Courtney was named to Barron’s Top Institutional Consultant List. In addition, Barron’s named Courtney to the Hall of Fame in their Top 100 Women Financial Advisors list and Top Financial Advisors list.  She holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation sponsored by the Investments & Wealth Institute™ (The Institute) at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and also holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. Working Mother and SHOOK Research have also included her in their Top Wealth Advisor Moms list from 2017 through 2021.

Courtney earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, which she attended on a full athletic scholarship.  She lives in Staten Island, New York, with her husband, Mike, and her daughters Michaela and Jordan. She is a member of the investment committee for Notre Dame Academy in Staten Island, and a member of the Board of Trustees for Richmond University Medical Center and Catholic Charities of Staten Island.  She’s the former Regatta Chairman at the Richmond County Yacht Club, and a Bloomberg mayoral appointee to the New York City Rent Guidelines Board. As a leader at Merrill, Courtney has served on several specialized Advisory Councils to Management. She also served as the inaugural national co-chair of the Merrill Lynch Women’s Exchange. Her hobbies include sailing and snowboarding, and playing tennis and golf.
