RUMC Auxiliary
The Richmond University Medical Center Auxiliary is composed of a dynamic group of people who devote their free time to making a meaningful contribution. Our dedicated groups of volunteers routinely develop initiatives that help support our mission.
History: The Auxiliary was first established one month before the opening of the former St. Vincent’s Hospital in 1903. It was made up of concerned members of the community and has served as a mainstay of support for the hospital for over 100 years. Over the years, the Auxiliary has provided thousands of volunteer hours supporting the hospital. The Auxiliary’s tireless energies are demonstrated by their numerous fundraising efforts, raffles, cake sales, fashion shows, teas and luncheons that continue today.
Come out and give it a try! Volunteer your time and get back much more. All are welcome. As a member, you can be as active as your schedule allows and participate in any or all committees and events of your choice.
