We also provide an excellent pain management service, offering leading nonsurgical procedures as well as conventional surgical alternatives. Our 18 general and specialist physician assistants help ensure excellent care during patients’ surgical experiences at Richmond University Medical Center. Physician assistant specialties include critical care, which involves post surgical care, and subspecialty care, which includes neurosurgery and orthopedic surgery.

Richmond University Medical Center has a state-of-the-art cystoscopy suite for performing lithotripsy cases. We perform over 7,000 endoscopies every year and are now currently completing a new Ambulatory Services Project with six new endoscopy suites and new Pre-Admission Testing offices.

Pre-Admission Testing

In order to offer the best surgical care possible, the Richmond University Medical Center team performs a thorough evaluation of every patient. This can include allergy information, current medications, and family medical history. In some cases, blood tests and x-rays may also be performed. Patients should also be prepared to provide their insurance information to our staff.
