Gary Sherman, D.P.M., Division Chief
In addition to a robust ambulatory podiatry service, the podiatrists on staff at Richmond University Medical Center are experts in the treatment and diagnosis of podiatric conditions. They offer additional expertise in treatment of the diabetic foot and screenings for peripheral artery disease.
When all treatment alternatives have been unsuccessful, the podiatrists on staff are well-versed in performing surgical procedures for the following through our Ambulatory Surgery Center.
- Bunions
- Hammertoes
- Fractures
- Flat feet
- Heel pain and plantar fasciitis
- Ingrown toenails
- Neuromas
- Warts
As a major teaching hospital, we have a clinical rotation relationship with Wyckoff Heights Medical Center Podiatry Residency Program. The residents are additional clinical resources working side by side with our podiatrist, providing an additional level of care.
