The Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) cares for some of the sickest patients in the hospital — those who need top-level, 24-hour attention. We are expanding our MICU from 10 beds to 14 beds, all in private rooms with more space.
This state-of-the-art unit will provide the latest in critical-care technology. Equally important, the MICU will make it easier for family members to participate in the care of their loved ones. We know that patients have the best outcomes when their families can remain at their sides, and our new MICU will provide a comfortable environment for both patients and family members.
