The Department of Clinical Research, representing Richmond University Medical Center, provides exceptional resources, facilities, and services for sponsoring agencies who seek to advance patient care through superior clinical research. Led by Dr. Dennis Bloomfield and Dr. Jakey Patwarithe centralized research department is fully staffed with experienced administrators, clinical research coordinators, research associates, regulatory and other supporting personnel. We conduct high-quality clinical trials to test new medications, devices, diagnostic modalities and treatment protocols. Because of our size and scope, we can offer sponsors high-quality data and accruals expeditiously and efficiently. The Department of Clinical Research is conducting both investigator initiated, NIH, NCI and industry sponsored studies in our hospital. We conduct inpatient and outpatient phase II-IV studies in multiple therapeutic areas that meets regulatory and industry standards. 

Volunteers Needed 

We are looking for patients with “Heart Failure, Coronary Artery Disease,  Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis research study is now enrolling eligible volunteers. If you have been diagnosed with either of these conditions at least three months ago and are currently experiencing symptoms, you may be qualified to participate. There is no cure for these diseases, and current medications do not help everyone.
