Masons Make Care Package Donation to Richmond University Medical Center

October 9, 2018 – On Sunday, October 7th, the New York City chapter of The Widows Sons, an International Masonic riding association whose members are all Freemasons, donated 25 care package for children receiving care in the pediatric department of Richmond University Medical Center (RUMC). The care packages contain crayons, coloring books, play-do, pencils, and glow sticks. The group also brought DVDs and CDs to entering children during their stay at RUMC.

“On behalf of the hospital, I would like to thank The Widows Sons for their donation and taking time to visit our pediatric department,” President and CEO Daniel J. Messina, Ph.D, FACHE, said. “I know our young patients and their families will appreciate their generosity during their stay with us.”

The mission of The Widows Sons is to help and assist widows and orphans of Master Masons, and to support community organizations through numerous charitable events.
