Sandra Conrad RN, MSN currently serves as Assistant Vice President for Ambulatory Care Services, a position in which she manages Ambulatory clinics on and off the Hospital campus.
Beginning her nursing career at Maimonides Medical Center in 1972, leaving as Assistant Director of Nursing, she has been a long time employee at RUMC holding various leadership and managerial positions. From Assistant Director of Nursing, night shift then evening shift, to Director of Nursing for Medical/Surgical, Critical Care, ED, Endoscopy units followed by Director of Hospital Ancillary Services including Environmental Services, Security, Food Services. Immediately prior to her current role, she worked closely with Richard Salhany developing and managing RUMC’s Accountable Care Organization (ACO) which continues to be a successful endeavor.
Sandra holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from City College of New York and a Master of Science in Nursing from Adelphi University. Until recently she was an Adjunct Professor of Nursing at College of Staten Island. She is involved in Jewish life on Staten Island and serves as President of Congregation B’nai Jeshurun. Sandra and her husband Michael are Staten Island residents and the proud parents of four children and seven grandchildren.
