Gina Gutzeit leads the Office of the CFO Solutions practice, FTI Consulting’s Finance Center of Excellence. She is an expert in providing and implementing solutions to optimize the Finance organization, and position CFOs for success. She has more than 30 years of experience in advising on operational and financial improvements, transactions, IPO readiness, restructurings, and project management. She was named one of Consulting magazine’s Women Leaders in Consulting for 2018 in the Excellence in Leadership category, which honors professionals who have helped advance new thinking to identify and address client needs.
Ms. Gutzeit has served as financial advisor to numerous companies experiencing financial and operational changes, and has advised on all aspects of finance transformation, cash flow management and revenue enhancement programs, performance improvement programs to improve financial reporting, monthly close processes and related business processes. She has helped prepare companies for transactions, negotiating with lenders and creditors, assessing divestiture and consolidation/integration, and forecasting the related financial impact. She has project managed back-office transformations, including process, technology and organizational redesign. Additionally, she has held numerous interim management roles, including Chief Financial Officer.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, she was a Partner within the Financial Advisory Services practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers Ms. Gutzeit is a long-time resident of Staten Island and currently resides there with her husband John and family.
