Jack Sipp Golf & Tennis Outing is fast approaching!

The Annual Jack Sipp Golf & Tennis Outing will be held Monday, May 19 at the Richmond County Country Club. There are still some spaces left as well as a few sponsorship opportunities. For more information, call (718) 818-2100.

National Cancer Survivor's Day at RUMC

National Cancer Survivor's Day will be marked on June 1 with a celebration entitled "Survivorship Through the Arts" at Snug Harbor Cultural Center, sponsored by Richmond University Medical Center. The event, to feature art, music & refreshments will take place from noon to 3 PM. A mass in the hospital chapel will precede it at 11 a.m. For more information on this FREE event, call (718) 818-1024.

Ways to Give

Much of the success of Richmond University Medical Center can be attributed to the generosity of the community.

Philanthropic contributions are extremely important to our organization because we provide care to everyone regardless of their ability to pay. You can support Richmond University Medical Center in many ways. These gifts are tax deductible.

Kinds of Gifts

Unrestricted Gift: A donation that can be used where it is needed the most.

Restricted Gift: Donations made specifically for a particular service, department, program, or area.

Memorial and Honorary Gifts: These donations will honor or memorialize loved ones, friends, or staff members; these gifts may also mark a special occasion, such as a birthday or an anniversary.

Matching Gifts: Some employers offer matching gift programs through which they match charitable contributions made by their employees. Ask your human resources department if your company has a matching gifts program and follow the instructions on how to generate the matching gift.

To donate by mail, send a check or money order, made payable to Richmond University Medical Center, to the hospital, at 355 Bard Avenue, Staten Island, New York 10310.

Other opportunities

The hospital hosts several fundraisers throughout the year. Our two major fundraisers are the Jack L. Sipp Memorial Golf Outing (in May) and the Charity Ball (Held in November). We welcome guests and sponsorships at many levels. In addition, the Auxiliary of Richmond University Medical Center hosts several fundraising opportunities throughout the year, including a ring sale, book sale, and other fairs, held in the hospital lobby.
