Richmond University Medical Center offers comprehensive vision and eye care services and the highest level of treatment for cornea and external eye diseases, oculo-plastic and orbital reconstruction, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, neuro-ophthalmology and HIV-related eye conditions.
The surgical team supports has a variety of subspecialists who offer a high level of expertise in the following surgeries:
- Cornea transplants
- Cataract surgery
- Glaucoma filtering surgery and laser trabeculectomies
- Retinal detachment repairs
- Laser photocoagulation
- Refractive surgery (LASIK, PRK)
