Alan S. Bernikow, CPA Appointed to Richmond University Medical Center Board of Trustees

Accomplished Business Leader & Philanthropist Joins Board

STATEN ISLAND, NY ― Richmond University Medical Center (RUMC) today announced that Alan S. Bernikow, a noted business leader and philanthropist, has been appointed to the hospital’s Board of Trustees. The Richmond University Medical Center’s Board is comprised of distinguished leaders of the Staten Island community who are committed to the success of the hospital and to the health of Staten Islanders. Mr. Bernikow and his wife, Joan, reside in Staten Island, New York; as well as a part-time residence in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida..

Alan S. Bernikow retired as Deputy Chief Executive Officer at the firm of Deloitte & Touche where his primary responsibilities included assisting the Chairman & CEO and Managing Partner on special projects, including firm mergers and acquisitions, partner affairs, and litigation matters.

Mr. Bernikow is currently a member, and holds committee positions with, the boards of Revlon, Inc. and Revlon Consumer Products Corporation, Destination XL Group, Inc ., UBS Global Asset Management (US) Inc., Florida Community Bank (f/k/a: Premier American Bank, N.A.), and Mack-Cali.

Mr. Bernikow has a B.B.A. degree from Baruch College and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA)

Presently, he is also a Partner at Kroll Bond Rating Agency and K2 Intelligence.
