Brian McMahon, M.D., FAAP
Brian R. McMahon, M.D., FAAP, is the immediate past President of the medical staff at Richmond University Medical Center with a private practice on Staten Island. A graduate of Monsignor Farrell High School, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame, Indiana, with a Naval ROTC Scholarship.
He attended U.E.R. Mixte de Pharmacie et de Medecine, Universite d’Angers, France. He completed a pediatric residency at the former St. Vincent’s Medical Center of Richmond. Dr. McMahon was the Pediatric House Officer for Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens and began his private practice on Staten Island in 1987.
He is the attending physician for the Department of Pediatrics for Richmond University Medical Center and is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and elected fellow to the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has also served as Chairman of the Credentials Committee at Richmond University; Chairman of the Continuing Medical Education Committee; and past Secretary, Treasurer and Vice President of the hospital’s medical staff.
